The Mistress intends to merge adoration and sustenance: she dips her bare soles into the bowl and commands the slave to consume them from her feet. The sugar results in a sticky situation, and it is the slave’s responsibility to ensure her feet are smooth and clean again. Once he finishes, his face is submerged in the bowl, and he is sent out into the streets to be ridiculed by passersby.
